Hitting the road with close friends Ben Rector, Drew Holcomb, and Colony House, Needobreathe unveiled an exciting new atmosphere on their current tour, the Tour De Compadres. Despite Ellie Holcomb being away on solo tour, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors put on a fabulous show. He dedicated “What Would I Do Without You” to her. A Memphis native, Drew Holcomb, united the Knoxville crowd with his performance of the song Tennessee. The packed Civic Coliseum belted out to the words to the song about their beloved hometown as well as others from the recent album Medicine.
Headlining the show, Needtobreathe came to the stage and preformed old hits as well as songs from their new album Rivers in the Wasteland. Bear Rinehart (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Bo Rinehart (backing vocals, guitar), Seth Bolt (backing vocals, bass), and Josh Lovelace (backing vocals, keys) captivated the crowd as everyone in the Coliseum sang together in unison throughout the show. Bear even moved through the packed crowd and sang the popular song, “Wasteland”, on a central floor stand surrounded by thousands of astounded fans. As the night came to a close, all of the bands joined together on stage to sing Needtobreathe’s current hit song “Brother.” With confetti flying through the air, the mood grew even more electrifying. NTB concluded the show on a more calming note, as the members moved close together on stage to sing an acoustic version of “Washed by the Water.” As exhausted fans with worn out voices left the arena, it was clear that bringing such talented friends on tour is one way to deliver an unforgettable show.
