Otis Redding - The Definitive Collection cover

Otis practically lived and breathed Soul. If he had a cold, I bet he sneezed with soul. He probably ate breakfast soulfully, and if he snored, it would have been worth recording and releasing in vinyl.

Every song here – the ones he made famous (Dock Of The Bay, Try A Little Tenderness), and the covers he reinvented (Respect, My Girl, Satisfaction) are drenched in emotion, dripping in Southern Soul, and a heart-swelling joy to listen to.

Brilliant.
